Collegiate Competition Series April 17th at Skyventure Colorado

Hello collegiate competitor!

The first Collegiate Competition Series was a success on Sat Feb 27. Now we’d like to take it to the next level and raise the stakes. We’re having a second competition on Saturday April 17^th. The competition is aimed towards student skydivers from colleges and universities across the country. Awards will not only include tunnel time but also jump tickets from local dropzones and prizes from manufactures.

The competition is going to be shaped to the participant's level of skill; from just getting off AFF status to head-down free-fliers. The beginner level of the competition is going to be geared towards belly and back fliers who are still learning the basics. The intermediate level will be aimed towards competent belly and free-fliers participating in what are known as 2-way scrambles with a student from another school. The advanced level of the competition will be aimed towards teams and head-down free-fliers. There is no need to stress over the competition aspect. We have tried our best to create a fun competition where you can meet skydivers from other major colleges.

As you compete, you will earn points for your school. The three highest scores will be taken from each school to determine their overall performance. Medals will be awarded to the top three individuals of each event. Prizes will be given to the top three schools of the competition to share among its members. As far as cost, there is no entry fee into the competition. You just need to afford your tunnel time. The cost of competing will be approximately $11 per minute. This competition is an affordable way to compete against other students while preparing yourself for the season and advancing your skills. I have attached a registration sheet for each competitor to complete. Please return the form to me through email no later than Wednesday April 7^th.
