These are some examples of some flyers we've used. Anyone else have any cool designs we could rip off?

Now I know why you wanted to post flyers ... to rub it in our faces that you had some great ones! Those are really awesome. I can't contribute too much here. The only idea we had was to make a business card that had flyer info so that people would hopefully put it in their pocket or wallet and not throw it away. I think your ideas are awesome. I like the one where you can tear off the info strips.

I'm going to start using your ideas ASAP! because they look great.

Thanks for the post!

That's the coolest thing I've heard yet. I think we might have to rip-off that idea. Where do you guys come up with this stuff?

Georgia Tech's Business Card Flyer

Postby benblee » Mon Feb 19, 2007 2:05 am

I know we can't match the V-Tech guys on creativity, but this is the GT Business card idea that has proven to get a good percentage of emails back from those who receive it. We noticed that flyers that you hand out get tossed pretty quick, so we made a business card sized flyer and had it printed at Office Depot on card stock paper. We bought the paper and then had them run copies with black ink only at $0.07 per page. We could fit 10 cards this size per page.

Sorry for the poor quality scan, but here it is (notice the second attachment is a Word Document that you can download!):
You have to be logged in to see since I attached a Word file too.

I like to give everyone a stack of them just to carry around. It's a good thing to have for all those times that you're talking to someone and then wanting to give them the contact info for your club. You don't have to fumble with finding paper and a pen. Even with using card stock paper, they come out to be about as cheap or even cheaper than flyers, so we use those to pass out on campus as our flyers most of the time.

We need to get more poster type flyers like you VT guys so that I have something to post around campus.
